The History of Team Blind

What started as an inside joke between competitors in 2021 would later become the foundation for a professional ATV Race Team. Military veteran racers would attend WORCS races with no practice, or sight laps.  The first lap would often be their first time seeing the courses. "We're just going in blind, " they would tell the other racers.

Military veteran racers would attend WORCS races with no practice, or sight laps.  The first lap would often be their first time seeing the courses. "We're just going in blind, " they would tell the other racers. This would later become their specialty as they progressed to the Pro ATV racing class in desert racing, where typically the courses are scarcely marked.

Foundation and Values

The History of Team Blind

The History of Team Blind

Team Blind Racing is an ATV racing team founded by Veterans. Our values are built on those of the Armed Forces, and of true grit and resiliency with  a "No Man Left Behind" mentality. We carry the photos and stories of service members we've lost to suicide to ensure they are never forgotten. We are fighting the good fight to help stop this, by getting more veterans involved in ATV racing.

We compete at the professional level of ATV racing in desert races across the SouthWest United States. We race at select other series throughout the year, and participate in charitable events and various veteran and military organizations throughout our communities. We encourage and welcome other veterans, law enforcement, first responders, and patriots to participate in our sport. We will contend to be the first team of US Military Veterans to win a Pro ATV Championship, with a 2nd place finish for the 2024 Best In The Desert Series Pro ATV Class, we have proven we are capable.

Adaptive ATVs

In 2024 Team Blind completed building two adaptive ATVs that were donated to amputee veterans. These machines serve as an outlet as well as proof there is no limit to what these veterans can accomplish and do. With the support of our communities, sponsors, and donors we were able to change the lives of a group of veterans.
